Christopher Eugene Brown was a son of the late Julius Brown and Marion Faust Brown. He was the eldest of three children. Christoher is survived by a younger brother. He is preceded in death by his younger sister, Juliana Marie Brown-King (Richard). Christo had two sons. Christopher was married to Albertha Brown for twenty-three years. The two resided in Stoughton, Massachusetts with their dog Buster Brown.
In 1964 when his parents moved to Marshfield Massachusetts, Christopher, aka Christo, chose to remain in the Howard Avenue neighborhood he grew up, living with his grandfather. Christo was graduated from Boston English High School in 1966 and later received his Bachelor of Science degree from UMASS Boston.
Christo worked at the Boston Globe for many years. He was also a counselor at the Massachusetts Department of Correction in Billerica and served as an Account Executive with Verizon in Boston. He was a "working man", often holding down many jobs at the same time. Chris enjoyed singing as a young man and was a member of the group "The Four Reasons Why". If you asked one hundred people who Christo was, they would all give you a different story. A superhero, a gentle giant, an entertainer. He was none of these things, and perhaps he was all of them.
