Johnnie Bell Johnson-Sherman-Age, of Arcadia, FL passed away January 7, 2022 at the Palms of Punta Gorda.
Johnnie has been a resident of Arcadia since 1961 and worked as a nursing assistant at G. Pierce Wood Hospital. She was involved in numerous veterans organizations and Auxiliaries. She enjoyed traveling, dancing and eating out but most of all loved spending time with her children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John H. Johnson, Sr.; sons: William T Johnson, Floyd D. Johnson Sr., and Terry L. Johnson; and daughter, Mickey Lynn Johnson-Scott.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 11th from 10-11 am at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 50 North Hillsborough Ave. Arcadia, FL where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.
