Born in Bennettsville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Lex Monroe Stewart and Fannie Mae Stubbs Stewart.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 4 sons, Michael Knight (Kim), Steve Knight (Cheryl), John Knight (Linda) and Charles Knight (Tammy), all of Sumter; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Hope Knight Peavy.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
