Audra Lanell (Brown) Smith was born October 19, 1934, to Archie Brown and Audra (Dunn) Brown in Colony, OK and passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.
Lanell was raised in Colony, OK and graduated from Colony High School in 1952. She married Glen Smith January 17, 1953. They made their first home in Clinton, OK and in 1972 they moved to Bessie, OK. She continued her education by going to Ex-Ray Technician School in Dallas, TX. She was employed at the Clinton Sherman Air Force Base and later began a long career with the Clinton Indian Hospital where she retired.
She was a member of the Bessie Baptist Church; she along with her husband enjoyed horses and loved traveling to Colorado to trail ride; she was well known for her homemade pies. She loved going out and eating Pizza and Mexican food.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 63 years, sister, Louise Rich and two brothers Dale Brown and Eugene Brown and his wife, Pat and nephews Dale Smith and Steve Brown.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Jan and Scott Armstrong, Jimmy and Janice Scott. Kay and Keith Woods, Diane Frazier, Melva and Roger Ripley, Roy Rich, Donna and Tom Wyatt, Teresa Brown; Jimmy and Elaine, Gary and Nina, Allan, Terry, Larry, Carolyn, Linda, Karen and Rex, Cathy and Bob, Nita and Shane and Todd and Kathy Brown.
