George Allen Cooper Jr, age 63, entered into his eternal rest Monday, October 25, 2021.
Allen was born November 17, 1957 to his mother, Gwendolyn "Jerrie" Brown Cooper and his father the late, George Allen Cooper Sr.
Allen was the loving husband of Martha Himel Cooper. Proud father of Heather Cooper (Haley), Carrie Pease (Ryan), Kyle Cooper and Robin Cooper. Loving and devoted grandfather of Baylee, Kolston and Paisleigh Cooper and Julian and Cooper Pease. Allen was the brother of Gwen Champlain-Jones (Bobby) and Pamela Kay Short (Gary). Allen also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Allen was an avid traveler and loved to go camping. There wasn't a campfire lit with him in attendance that didn't hear him say, "I'm gonna tell you what the Lord loves….and the that's the Truth." Allen was a member of the Masonic Order, Livingston Lodge No. 160 and served the position of Grand Sword Bearer, Allen also served the Masonic Education Committee for which he received a Certificate of Meritorious Recognition and he was also a member of the Shriner's.

Thompson Funeral Home 12012 Hwy 190 West, Hammond, LA 70401 starting at 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A catholic service will be held at 11:00 AM following the visitation.
