Private graveside services for Cynthia Dianne "Cindy" Hill of Tyler, will be held at Cathedral in the Pines with Ken Brumley officiating under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Cindy passed away January 5, 2022, at Hospice of East Texas from a lengthy battle with kidney disease. She was born April 23,1953, in Dallas to Rufus and Pat Smith.

Cindy and her family moved to Tyler in 1955. She attended Bell, Clarkston, Moore Jr. High, Robert E Lee High School, Tyler Jr. College, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from UT Tyler. She retired after 22 years as a CPA at Suddenlink Communications. Cindy was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.

Cindy was preceded by her parents, her husband, Sam R. Hill III, and her sister, Kay Coleman. She is survived by her son, Jim Voit, Jr. of Tyler; sister, Debbe Hill and husband, Charles of Whitehouse; brother-in-law, Pat Coleman, of Tyler; nephew, Matt Hill, of Whitehouse; nieces, Heather Duncan and husband, Jesse of Austin, Toni Elgin and husband, Scott, of Celina, Jodi Larson and husband, Ryan, of McKinney, and Ashley McElwee of Tyler; her cherished great-nieces and great-nephews; and many loving friends. Special thanks to Dr. Stephen Keuer, Dr. Mingiziem Emiru, and the staff of Watson Wise Dialysis Center.

Cindy's greatest pleasures were spending time with her family and friends, watching football, being on Lake Tyler, and enjoying her flowers. She will be greatly missed.

Honorary pallbearers are Matt Hill, Jacob Pautsky, Jesse Duncan, Scott Elgin, Ryan Larson, and Daniel Laverty.
