Muncie – Mark Dennis passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, December 25, 2021, at Signature Healthcare, at the age of 69. He was born April 26,1952 in New Orleans, LA to William and Helen Dennis.
Mark was a Godly man and attended church faithfully until his health failed. He was always living for the Lord. He earned his Master 's Degree in structural engineering from The University of Maryland and worked at various places including over seas as an engineer. For twenty plus years, he worked as a police officer in Louisiana and Indiana. He took numerous trips to Kenya performing police and mission work as he found great joy in helping others. Mark was always a jokester and loved making others laugh. He was a very hard worker and he loved his family.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his only son; Aaron Papa of Louisiana, and one sister; Lynn (Earl) Moreau, also of Louisiana.
Cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Fountain Square United Methodist Church, 4405 S. Madison St., Muncie, IN 47302.
