Wesley Lyndell Elmore, of Palestine, Texas, joined his loving Lord and Savior in Heaven on Tuesday, the 4th day of January 2022. Mr. Elmore passed away at Palestine Regional Medical Center at the age of 78. He was born in Orlando, Florida on the 28th day of February 1943 to parents Calvin Elmore, Sr. and Rosibell.

Mr. Elmore was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed raising animals, farming, hunting, fishing, or working with his tractor, anything where he was able to be in the great outdoors. He also enjoyed watching the History Channel with his beloved dog, Piper. Mr. Elmore was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and always appreciated a good cup of coffee.

He is preceded in death by his parents Calvin Sr. and Rosibell, and son Calvin William Elmore.

Mr. Elmore is survived by his daughters, Anice Faye Scarborough, Alicia Elaine Kirby; stepchildren, Donna Rae, Sherry Lynn, Randy Paul, and O'Neal Richard and wife Sylvia; grandchildren, Matthew Blake Nash and wife Courtney, Tyler Elmore, Noah Joseph Davidson, Ashley Nichole Larue and husband Doyle, Alyssa, Samantha, Lauren, and Kayla. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Dawson, Tucker, and Bowyn and many friends.

Funeral services to honor the life of Wesley Elmore are to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 8th day of January 2022 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Ben Rhone officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery with Military Honors.

Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the start of the service at Rhone Funeral Home.
