Kimberly Ann Montgomery, 55, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022. She was born on April 1, 1966 in Los Angeles, California to Alford and Doris (Abbell) Burns.

Kimberly was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved being with her family and friends but overall she loved spending time with her grandkids. Kimberly will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Doris Ann Abbell, Father, Alford Isaac Burns, and Daughter, Catherine Michelle Bruner.

Kimberly is survived by her loving Husband of 16 years, John W. Montgomery; Sons, Jeff (Amber) Burns and Thomas Raymond (Shelby) Burns; Grandchildren, Justice G. Jayes, Kallie Mae Burns, and Niklaus Michael Burns; Siblings, Margaret (Tony) King, Doris (Steve) Wood, and Rob (Michelle) Burns as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven
