Brent was born in Hammond, LA on December 31, 1961 to the late, Lucius William Patterson and Mardia Laverne Kennedy Patterson. Besides his parents, Brent was also preceded in death by his sister, Rena Kay Patterson.
Brent was the loving husband of Jeri Radley Patterson. Proud step-father of Aleah Clinard (David Taylor), Justin Clinard and Dalton Clinard (Cheyenne Stafford). Brent was the loving step-grandfather of Jaycelyn, Karlie, Willow, Adeline, Zayden and Charlie. Brent was the brother of Bobbie Patterson Dorhauer (Ken), Brenda Patterson Methvien (Roy) and Barbara Patterson Vaughn (Mike). He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family has chosen a private memorial service to be held at a later date.
