SON OF HENRY HAUCK (1886-1971) AND ROSA (HERGOTT) HAUCK (1893-1969)

Peacefully at home at the age of 90, on Wednesday August 24th, 2011.
Cherished husband of Leona (Heagy) for 65 years, son of Henry Hauck and Rose (Hergott), father of Connie Klimke (Werner), Angela Sasaki (the late Kyo), Charlotte Lafleur (Bob), and Stephen (Linda Lewis). Special grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of five. Survived by brother Earl, and sisters Terry Tittle (Buster) and Pat Zinken (Rick).

Predeceased by grandsons Ryan Klimke (1997) and Glenn Hauck (2009), brother Wilfred, and sisters Eileen in infancy, Alice Sachs and Dorothy Stevenson.

Syl was born and lived his whole life in Waterloo except for his time in the Canadian army. He was a design draftsman for his entire career and was a founding member of St. Michael's Church, 240 Hemlock St., Waterloo where his Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday August 29th at 10:30 a.m. Followed by interment at Parkview Cemetery.
Visitation on Sunday August 28th from 3-6 p.m (prayers at 3:00) at Erb and Good Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo.
Donations to St. Michael's Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
