HENRY "H.C."'S OBITUARY

[U.S. Veteran]

Henry Coleman "H.C." Clark Jr., age 80 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. A native of Gainesville, FL, he was the son of Henry Coleman Clark, Sr. and Helen Blondelle Clark.

H.C. is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cynthia Norton Clark; son, Henry (Anita) Clark of Austin, TX, daughters, Darlene (Steve) Spence of Murfreesboro, TN, Cecily (Alex) Grigoriou of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Steven (Lindsey) Spence, E (Kiana) Spence, Kassidy Spence; great-grandchildren, Calum, Bayley, Kingston, Logan, Kaimana; beloved dog, Daisy; brother, David Clark, sisters, Nancy (Niels) Andersen, Judy Yates; several nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

H.C. was a member of Old Lebanon United Methodist Church, a veteran of the United States Navy and a retired electrical construction project manager. His favorite projects included, Disney World, EPCOT Center, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and FUJI Film Plant, to name a few.

Pallbearers will be Steve Spence, Steven Spence, Kassidy Spence, Alex Grigoriou, David Gordon and Sam Ayers.

Special appreciation goes out to Raylene Carleton-Wood and Beryl Pixley for the kindness and caregiving. Also, to Pastor Ann Meece and Bob (Dianne) Tuttle.

The family would like to sincerely thank Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro for their care and compassion.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro from 3:00 – 7:00 PM.

Visitation to continue at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home in Albertville, AL, on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. Graveside services will immediately follow.
