Angela J. Franklin, age 48, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at her residence. Angela was born in Madison, July 1, 1960, daughter of Ben Ammons and Verta Nancy Franklin. Survivors include her fiancé, David Odenweller; her children, Tonia Franklin of Evansville, Robert Raymer of Reedsburg, Scott Peterson of Cottage Grove and Christopher Peterson and Brandon Peterson, both of Rio; her eight grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Rob Briggs, Michael Briggs, Nancy Briggs, Sue Briggs, Carrie Johnson and Kim Gage; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held at the OAK GROVE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH,101 W. Church St., Evansville, on Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, 1 p.m. with the Rev. Josh Brumbaugh officiating. Interment will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials to the family have been suggested.
