Donald was born March 17, 1930 in West, the son of Elmer and Myrtle (Willis) Adair. He was a 1949 graduate of Abbott High School. On August 16, 1952, he was united in marriage to Wanda Wick in San Antonio. He and Wanda bought Adair Grain in 2004 and continued serving the local agricultural community for many years. His passion was working as a farmer and rancher. Donald enjoyed dominoes, fishing, telling stories, making you laugh if you needed it, and if you got an "atta boy" from him that was good because it was rare. He cherished time with his family and loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
