Milton Lafayette Hendrix of Ocean Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC; his death was immediately, from a heart attack, on Tuesday at the age of 48. Milton was a WW II National Guard Veteran, enlisting Nov. 25, 1940. Milton was a 1st Lt in the U.S. Army, serving from Nov. 3, 1959 thru his discharge Oct. 17, 1961. He is survived by his wife Geneva (Tankersley) Hendrix. Milton was a teacher at Wampee-Little River High School, North Myrtle Beach, SC; He was a graduate of Jacksonville University and his BA at South Carolina University. He was son of and is survived by Ethan L. Hendrix. His mother, Effie (Green) Hendrix, passed away in 1964. He is also survived by his daughter's Phyllis Suzanne Hendrix, Cynthia Lee Hendrix and Lynette Hendrix, also a brother Robert J. Hendrix and a sister Melba I. Williamson. Burial will be in the Southeastern Memorial Gardens, North Myrtle Beach, SC;
