BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. -- Services for Oliver G. Stonington were Feb. 7, 1998, at the Father Dyer Church in Breckenridge.

Stonington, a retired doctor, died Feb. 4, 1998. He was born June 9, 1915, in Staten Island, N.Y.

Stonington received degrees from Princeton, Harvard and Yale. He did postgraduate training at Hine's Veterans Hospital as an Army captain from 1944-48.

He married Catherine Davis. She preceded him in death. He and Anne McDaniel of Ardmore were married in 1984.

He lived and worked in Denver for more than 30 years, moving to Breckenridge after retirement. He was former head of the division of urology in the surgery department of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He was a member of the Western Urological Forum and past president of the Rocky Mountain Traumatological Society.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; two daughters; three sons; and three stepdaughters.
