"Sister" Carolyn Ann Carter-Adams was united in marriage to Sidney Adams, who preceded her in death, on March 3,1998.
Sister peacefully passed away on December 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by one brother, Landis Ray Carter; one sister, (baby) Debra Carter; one grand-son, Anthony Adams II; four uncles, Fred, Charles, Boyce and Dewey Davis; and five aunts, Lucile Jackson, Inease Davis, Thelma Davis, Nina Jean McFarland, and Ella Espy.
Carolyn leaves to cherish, remember, and miss her a loving daughter, Shunadressa (Clarence) Carter, of Dallas, Texas; loving son, Derrick (Tina) Carter, of Longview, Texas; three brothers, Bobby (Kimberly) Fitts, of Houston, Texas, Ronnie (Patrice Deneen) Fitts, of Longview, Texas, and Michael (Laurie) Fitts, of Hobbs, New Mexico; five sisters, Addie (Donnie) McCray, Beverly (Lee Charles) Gray, Barbara (Irving) Fitts-Williams, Lauretta Boson, and Doris Thomas, all of Longview, Texas; two step-sons, Jaywonn Adams, of Longview, Texas, and Eric (Brooke) Jimerson, of Conway, Arkansas; two stepdaughters, Starla (Frank) Walker, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Kedra (Patrick) Starling, of Easton, Texas; four grandsons, Wendallen Adams, Eric Adams, Quinton Adams, and Derricks Carter Jr.; one granddaughter, Terriyona Adams; 16 great-grandchildren, two aunts, Vernice Miles, of Ore City, Texas, and Ninease Jackson, of Longview, Texas; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
