Leonard (Red) Dale Martin I, 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Fayetteville Veterans Hospital, Fayetteville, AR. He was born on March 3, 1945 in Ellis, AR to his parents, Loyd Ewrin Martin and Della Mae Holstine-Martin.

Red graduated from Jay High School, Jay, OK and continued his education at Fort Scott Community College, Fort Scott, Kansas. He joined the United States Marines Corp and served in the Vietnam War. Red married the love of his life, Ingrid Sue Martin on November 10, 1967. Red loved playing sports. He was a member of several Softball teams such as the Brush Creek, Little Kansas and Redsticks. He also coached several Little League Baseball Teams too. Red loved fishing, hunting, and was an all around sportsman that enjoyed the outdoors. He loved the Colorado Mountains, Elk hunting, Catfish and Bass fishing. Red was a major Bulldog Fan that loved watching and supporting the Jay Bulldogs Sport Events. He was a dedicated hard worker throughout his life and worked with the City of Tulsa for 35 years until his retirement. Red was a man of strong faith and was a member of Piney Baptist Church of Jay, OK. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Red is preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Della Martin; his soulmate, Ingrid Sue Martin; both of his brothers and his sister.

Red is survived by his 2 sons, Leonard Dale Martin II of Jay, OK, Brian Martin and Mary Loman of Jay, OK; grandchildren, Trey III and Sarah Martin of Lawton, OK, Elizabeth Martin and Jesse White of Rogers, AR, Logan Martin, Gavan Martin and Elle Martin all of Lawrence, KS, Tylor Loman of Springfield, MO, Ashley Loman of Joplin, MO and Natasha Blair of Jay, OK; great-grandchildren, Lalaina White, Leonard (Ford) Martin IV, Luke Martin and Reed Martin; countless loved ones and friends.
