Harper, Patricia Ann (Whetzle), of Upper Arlington and Ft. Myers, FL passed away…….at the age of 92.

Pat is predeceased by the love of her life, married 67 years at the time of his passing, husband, J. Joseph Harper and by infant son Patrick, by her parents, Ed and Agnes (Cullen) Whetzle, and brothers Don and Dick.

Pat was born in Buffalo, NY, on March 4, 1929 and spent her youth through high school in Shreveport, LA. Her family moved to Columbus where she attended The Ohio State University, met and married her beloved husband in 1946. Her husband's businesses took the family to New York, Michigan, later to Dayton and in 1964 to Upper Arlington. Retirement brought Pat to Ft. Myers, FL where she was very active in golf and tennis and where she hosted and entertained the numerous visiting friends and relatives.

She loved to travel and had the joy of exploring other countries, as well as the US, with her many friends and family members.

She was a long-time member of Our Lady of Victory and St. Timothy Parishes, Scioto County Club, Northam Tennis, OSU President's Club, and Hide-a-way Hills.

Pat's home was always open, full of food, fun and love for her children and their friends. Her Irish eyes were forever smiling. She loved to entertain and everyone was welcome. Her 4th of July, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day gatherings were among the most heartwarming of her celebrations.
