George Patrick "Pat" Garrett

1949-2022

Pat Garrett "George Patrick Garrett", of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away January 2, 2022. He was born in Liberty, Missouri on October 18, 1949 and graduated from Excelsior Springs High School. Pat was a member of the United States Air Force Reserves, attended college at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, then received a law degree at Oklahoma City University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was married to Carol Garrett in Oklahoma City on February 12, 1977.

While licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri, Pat ran a successful law office in Edmond and retired as an administrative law judge for Oklahoma's Department of Human Services. He was his family's hero, horseman and rescued countless foster animals. He will be dearly missed and live forever in our hearts.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Marjorie Garrett, and sister Judith Hennigh. He is survived by his wife Carol Garrett, son Chris Garrett and wife Krissy, son Kyle Garrett and wife Chrtisten, grandson Chandler Garrett and girlfriend Liberty Branson, granddaughter Bailey Garrett, granddaughter Kinley Garrett and grandson Cayden Garrett.

Services will be held at a later date.
