Mary A. (Paltrineri) Arena of Natick, formerly of Wellesley and Waltham, passed away, January 2, 2022. Beloved wife of the late O.J. Rus Arena. Devoted mother of two. Grandmother of 3 and great-grandmother of two. Great-great-grandmother of two. Sister of the late Red Paltrineri, Vanda R. Paltrineri, Louis Paltrineri, and Joseph Paltrineri. She was the daughter of the late Angelo Paltrineri and Josephine (Tassi) Paltrineri Cononi.
She was a graduate of Wellesley High School class of 1941. She was a retired employee of Raytheon during World War II, Woolworth of Natick, and a member of the Natick Senior Center.
A private Funeral Service will be held in the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., WELLESLEY, on Thursday, January 6 at 12:00pm. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
