Carol A. Keene, 64, of Orefield, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Bruce A. Keene. They would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this July. Born in Lancaster, PA, on March 12, 1957, Carol was the daughter of the late Edmund W. and Anne M. (Naylor) Killheffer. Carol attended Bloomsburg University where she was president of the Chi Sigma Rho sorority, and held a Masters of Business Administration degree from Kutztown University. She was employed by Air Products and Chemicals for 26 years before joining Wacker Chemical Corporation in 2008, where she was currently employed as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Development. Carol had a true passion for her career and valued the mutual admiration between her and her co-workers. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Orefield, PA. Carol enjoyed cooking, and frequent travel including trips to the Caribbean with her husband. She loved spending time by the water, lounging by the pool, and most importantly, spending time with her beautiful family.

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband, Bruce; daughter, Jeanette D. and her husband Anthony L. Cartolano of Cedar Park, TX; son, Andrew A. and his wife Stephanie N. Keene of Alexandria, VA; sisters, Regina A. and her husband Robert E. Zimmerman of Reinholds, PA, Rita M. and her husband John D. Ressler of Brownstown, PA; grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, James and Sarah.

Services: Family and friends may pay their respects from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday, January 9, 2022, in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 10, 2022, at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Church 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield. Additional calling hours will precede the Mass from 9:30 – 10:30 AM in the church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in the Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
