She was a past member of the Louisville Rat Racer's and the Moose Lodge. She loved playing bunco with family and friends, and enjoyed reading, dancing, and making floral arrangements.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Neel; brother, Robert Neel; grandson, Stephen Blair; niece, Carrie Neel Parker; and her husband, Charles L. Broome.
She is survived by her husband, Gabriel J. "Junie" Crawford; daughters, Donna Blair (Martin), Denise Stemm (George), Sheri LaPaille (Joe), Leanne Gittings (Waddy), Kimberly Crawford Lobb (Jim), and Cindy Crawford Brooks; son, Michael Broome (Micki); sister, Nancy Patton; brother, Gerald Neel (Sue); 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Monday, January 10, 2022 with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Rd. Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00pm on Sunday, January 9, 2022, and from 11:00am until the time of service on Monday, at the funeral home.
