Judith (Leyland) Miller Garn, age 84, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully in her home on January 3, 2022, after multiple days of visits from her loving friends and family. Judy was born February 8, 1937, to the late James and Veronica (Ragan) Leyland. Always proud to be a woman, Judy was a devoted wife with a love for her children and grandchildren that was beyond description. Judy worked as an administrative assistant in the medical profession for more than 20 years and was always professional, organized, and respected by the doctors she worked for as well as by those she worked with. She handled herself with class and elegance in all that she did and those closest to her knew and loved her quick-witted sense of humor.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Joe, whom she married January 2, 1999; daughter, Kathleen (Robert) Miano; son, Leyland (Tracy) Miller; daughter-in-law Jane Miller; grandchildren, Jacob Miano, Jack, Matt, and Molly Miller, Sam, Zach, and Michael Miller; brothers, Jim (Katie) Leyland, Dan (Colette) Leyland, and Larry (Margaret) Leyland; sister-in-law, Diane Leyland and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Murray Miller; sister, Sharon (Leyland) Sherman; brother-in-law, Deane Sherman; brothers, Father Thomas Leyland and William Leyland; and son, Philip James "P.J." Miller.

Judy's funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 7, 2022, at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 East Front St., Perrysburg. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
