Cory Holland Wilcox, 28, of Blocker, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 in Newton, Kansas.

Viewing will be on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bishop Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2022 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with cremation to follow.

Cory graduated from Crowder High School in 2011. He worked for Walmart Automotive for a period of time, and actually enjoyed learning the mechanics of different vehicles. He later switched jobs to Choctaw Defense where he worked for several years, then found himself working for Meeco where he got to travel and see parts of the USA.

He later moved to Newton, Kansas, to give his two youngest girls a chance to know him and be close to him.
He loved to fish, hunt, ride anything that had wheels, and more than anything he loved spending time with the ones he loved. He will be remembered by his big heart and the love he had for his children and his family.

Cory is survived by his mother: Jamie Coberly of Blocker; father: Tracy Wilcox of Crowder; sister: Samantha Morrow and husband, Joe of Hartshorne; his children: Eian Wilcox, Ethan Wilcox, Emily Wilcox, Corra Wilcox, and Mylla Wilcox; grandmother: Laura "Meme" Wilcox and husband, Larry South of Krebs; grandfather: James Coberly of Blocker; aunts and uncles: Kellie Lanning, Brian Coberly, Chris Coberly; special cousins: Rebecca Frias and Tommy Coberly; nieces and nephews: Jason Voegele, Tiler Voegele, Kambri Morrow, and Karter Morrow; special aunt: Loritha Phillips; special uncle: Jeff Channels; and numerous cousins and a host of friends.

Cory is preceded in death by his grandmother: Barbara Hammers, grandfather: Phillip Wilcox, uncle: Tommy Coberly, and cousin: Laura Lee Shannon-Wilcox.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bishop Funeral Service for his final expenses.
