Mr. Joseph J. Scott, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 17, 2021 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Joseph J. Scott, Jr., 85, who entered eternal rest, Monday, December 13, 2021 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home of Opelousas.
Interment will be in Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Mr. Scott is survived by three sons, Mark Scott, Paul Joseph Scott (Theresa) both of Opelousas, LA and Bennett Scott of Jackson, TN; three daughters, Paula Scott – Thomas (Jerome), Angela Scott (Brad) and Desiray Ferguson all of Opelousas, LA; a sister, Andrea Morris (Michael) of Irvine, CA; fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Veronica Roberts Scott; his parents, Joseph Charles Scott & Edmonia Charles Scott; a brother, Earnest Scott and a sister, Marie Guillory.
Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM Friday, December 17, 2021 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM.
