Ada Beatrice Fiore, age 95, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Ada was born July 1, 1926 in Syracuse, NY.
An extraordinary woman of strong faith, a devoted wife and the best mother to a child that anyone could ask for. She instilled her values of unconditional love, love of family, love of her faith, love of reading, love of the beach and much more. William Smith University yearbook said that Ada (D'Augustine ) Fiore was "innocence personified"; to her family she was unconditional love personified. While working full time as the North Fort Myers first official librarian and as full time mother she completed her graduate degree in Media/Library Science . The North Fort Myers library started as a store front in a small shopping center and Ada Fiore was instrumental in the design of the first North Fort Myers library. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years of marriage whom she met at Syracuse University. They are the love of each other lives. She is also survived by her ten children Thomas Fiore, Mary Anne Petrie (Kim), Christine Rowe (Mark), Ada Hosier (John), Valerie Fiore, Lynne Brite (John), Stephen Fiore (Ann) , Edward Fiore (Diane), James Fiore (Angel), and Charlotte Fiore. She is also survived by Jim D'Augustine (step brother)and Ruth Donk (step-sister) of New York state. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Alejandro N. Martinez and his entire team for their wonderful healthcare. We would also like to thank Sherline and Nina from Home Care from Gulf Coast Village for their extraordinary care which along with the loving care of her husband made it possible for her to live out her life at home.
