He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Viccarlos Marquette Mason and grandparents, Johnny Ware and Julia Reason Ware.
Survivors: wife, Bobbie, mother Sarah, four sisters, Lanara Washington and husband, Leon, Julia Mason and husband, John, Dianna Mason and husband, Ronnie, and Tiara Mason and husband, Curtis, three brothers, Matt Mason Jr. and wife, Angelene, George Mason and wife, Treneice, and Robert Mason and a number of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceded her in death, one daughter, Linda Ware Morgan; one grandson, VicCarlos Mason; three sisters, Melinda Johnson, Georgia Pickett and Ethel Collins; and seven brothers, twin brother Junus Reason, Melvin Reason, Freeman Reason, Alfred Reason Jr., Clarence Reason, James Reason and Leon Reason.
Survivors include five daughters, Sarah Mason, Georgia Ware, Lillie Bradford and husband, Herbert Jr., Jessie L. Ware, all of Church Hill, and Virgie Amos of Natchez; three sons, Jessie J. Ware and wife, Sylvia, of Paris, Texas, Marcus Ware and Kenny Ware and wife, Patricia, all of Natchez.
