Cheryl Kay Coleman, age 68, a resident of Satsuma, Alabama, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 in Mobile. She was born in Clarke County, Alabama on July 23, 1953.
She is preceded in death by her father, V.G. Andrews; mother, Hazel Brown Martin, her sister, Brenda G. McMichael, and special fur baby, Dasha. Cheryl is survived by her children: April Coleman (Shane) West, Erica Coleman (Greg) Lee; Andrea Coleman (Joe) Rettig; and Jonathan Jason (Tina) Coleman; grandchildren: Lainy Lee, John Lee, Caroline West, Ainsley West, Olivia West, Hudson Coleman, Walker Coleman, Harper Coleman, and Joseph Rettig, Jr.; brother, Michael Andrews; special cousins, Patsy Fulghum and Mike Moore; special friends, Terri Coleman, Shelby Stewart, Kathy Howle, Donna Gunter, and the "Soul Sisters," as well as other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 at 12:00 noon from the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Rd. Saraland, Alabama. The family will be accepting friends Monday beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Lee, Shane West, Joe Rettig, John Lee, Charlie Coleman, and Eric McMichael.
