Sissy was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 53 years, Larry Dean Williams; son Wesley D. Williams; and her sister Elizabeth (Howard) Stover. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her grandsons Brandon Wesley (Jennifer) Williams, Levi Wesley Williams, and Trevor D. (Bethannie) Williams; great-grandchildren Trey & Aaliyah Williams; sister Helen (Tex) Bailey; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Sissy was a tender and caring woman who loved and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a mother to everyone and raised her family proudly. In her earlier years, she took great pride and found true happiness in teaching the Cubbies at Mabscott Christian Baptist Church. Over the years, she eventually found herself faithfully serving the Lord at Virginia Street Baptist Church in Oak Hill.
She will forever live in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 11 am – 1 pm with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at the Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center Chapel with Pastor Doug Holley officiating. Sissy will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with her family and friends serving as pallbearers.
