Jimmy Sanders, age 67 of Dunn died Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Betsy Johnson Hospital.
Jimmy was born December 5, 1954 in Harnett County the son of the late Roscoe Sanders and Adlene Maynor Sanders and is preceded in death by sons, Roscoe Duncan Sanders and Travis Ray Jackson. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Lou Bullard.
Jimmy was a U.S. Army Veteran and a residential painter for many years, he retired from painting and went to work at Erwin Mills for 15 years. In his later years he did lawn care with his son.
Jimmy was a loving husband and father even to his step-son, His step-son James took care of his daddy.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 11:00 am at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stoney Chance officiating. Burial will follow Greenwood Cemetery.
He is survived by: His wife: Patty Sanders of the home. Sons: Johnathan Winston Sanders, Jimmy Clifton Sanders, James Patrick Jackson and Charles Edward Jackson all of Dunn, NC
