Donald Dan "Dano" Campbell, age 66, of Albia, IA, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at his home under the care of EveryStep Hospice.

Dan was born on February 8, 1955, to Paul and Violet (Henderson) Campbell in Centerville. He grew up in Exline. After obtaining his GED, Dan went on to journeyman school earning his degree. Dan married the love of his life Tracey Reagan on September 12, 2003 in Albia. They shared 18 years of marriage prior to his passing.

Dan worked as a journeyman Millwright for 25 years until his retirement in 2011. He was also a member of the Labor Union 2158 out of Bettendorf, Iowa. Dan enjoyed working on old cars and driving heavy equipment. He also loved to fish and mushroom hunt. Above all else, Dan enjoyed spending time talking with his friends and family.

Dan is survived by his wife, Tracey Campbell of Albia; 2 daughters, Darcy Campbell of Indianapolis, IN, and Janet Campbell of Indianapolis, IN; 2 step-children, Mike (Monica) Oatman of Boone, IA, and Will (Lisa) Oatman of Ames, IA; 3 sisters, Rose Walker of Monroe, IA, Donna Timmons of Prairie City, IA, and Mary Ann Hurley of Exline, IA; and 2 brothers, Rex (Denise) Campbell of Exline, IA, and P.J. (Debbie) Campbell of Toronto, IA; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dan is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Violet Campbell; 2 brothers, Frank Campbell and John Campbell; 2 sisters, Ellen Moore and Pauline Taylor; and 1 grandson, Brad Yingling.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022, at the Tharp Funeral Home in Albia, with Dan's family present to greet family and friends. Dan's family will also be present to greet friends and family 45 minutes prior to the funeral service Saturday.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the Tharp Funeral Home in Albia, with Pastor Tim Dobson officiating. Burial will follow services at the Exline Cemetery.
