Mr. Miller was born in Hellam Township on October 2, 1924 and was a son of the late Willis and Jennie (Seitz) Miller.
Roy was a life-long farmer and had worked as a roll hauler for P.H. Glatfelter Co. for 14 years. He was a member of Paradise (Holtzschwamm) Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing, traveling, going to auctions, and most of all time spent with his family.
In addition to his wife Florence, he is survived by four daughters, Linda Kreiss, Joanne Shook (Michael) both of Thomasville, Shirley Clarke (Guy) of York, and Melisa Bolinger of Spring Grove; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and five sisters. Roy was preceded in death by his wife Loretta (Gruver) Miller; a brother; and two sisters.
Public Viewings will be held Thursday January 6, 2022, from 6 pm to 8 pm and on Friday from 10 am until the funeral service begins at 11 am. All services will take place at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Interment will follow in the Paradise Union Cemetery, Thomasville.
