Mrs. Brenda McDonald Ellis, age 72 of Griffin, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Ellis was born July 25, 1949 in Corpus Christi, Tx. She was the daughter of the late William McDonald and Maxie Bigbee McDonald Ellis. She was a true tomboy to her core who drove her mother crazy trying to keep her clean. Her family moved to Houston, Tx where she became a cowgirl. Her horses meant everything to her and she loved to ride, yet she was always a true lady.
Through her life she loved to sing, but unfortunately for all to hear was not blessed with the talent. Brenda loved to love. She never met a stranger and usually the conversation would end with her blessing you with one of her hugs.
Brenda could be the life of the party and was a wonderful hostess, but never had to be the center of attention. She always wanted to help and be there for anyone and everyone she could. She loved and was loved by many, and will be truly missed by all.
She was a member of Apostolic Tabernacle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cutis Ellis.
