Barbara Oakley Bullock, 79, of Bear Grass, passed away at Vidant Medical Center on Monday, January 3, 2022. Barbara was born, March 18, 1942 to the late Walter M. Oakley and Elsie Ayers Oakley of Robersonville.
She was a Floral Designer for Mattco Florist for years and she loved working with flowers. Barbara got married in 1958 to the love of her life Odell Bullock, who preceded her in death in 1987.
Barbara was survived by her three sons; three sisters; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter; Kimberly Dawn Bullock, four brothers; Walter, Michael, Richard, and Keith Oakley, and one sister; Edith James.
There will be a 2:00PM funeral service held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Rehoboth Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bear Grass with burial to follow at the Bullock Family Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the church from 10:00am until time for the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bear Grass Fire Dept. 6005 Bear Grass Rd. Williamston, NC 27892.
