Lynne was born on October 5, 1947 in Camden, New Jersey to Frank and Claire Strockbine, the oldest of 5 children. She grew up in Woodbury and graduated from Woodbury High School with the Class of '66. She was a charter member of the Tri-Hi-Y and served as its vice-president. She was a member of the Spanish Club, Health and Careers Club, and Captain of the drill team. Upon graduation she went to work as an information operator for the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company.
Lynne was baptized a member of the Church of the Latter Day Saints September 10, 1966, and remained a faithful, active member.
On October 28, 1967 she married her high school sweetheart at the Audubon Ward Chapel in Audubon, New Jersey.
She was a dedicated full-time mother to her six beautiful daughters; Stacy, Becky, Carey, Jody, Courtney, and Kelly.
She served many positions in the church. Of all her church callings, the Young Women's program was most dear to her heart.
She opened her home to those in need, and extended shelter, clothing, food, advice, or just a sympathetic ear.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
