Tammy attended school in both Encampment, WY and Rolla, MO. She married the love of her life, Michael Callahan on Saturday, January 14, 1989, at the American Legion Hall in Cuba, MO and to this union 5 children were born.
She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. Tammy enjoyed riding horses, shooting pool, fishing, motorcycle riding, diamond painting, going to yard sales, and tending to her vegetable garden. She loved to can her homegrown vegetables and deer meat. In the early years, she was fond of squirrel hunting. She crocheted blankets, potholders, hats, and dish scrubbers. She loved making jewelry, especially bracelets, earrings, and rings as well as attending gem shows and exploring exhibits. Most of all, Tammy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; sister-in-law Joy Schneider; and 2 sons Paden Callahan and Dustin "Dusty" Callahan.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO with Brother Shane Ryerson officiating. The service will be live-streamed on Hutson Funeral Home in Cuba, MO's Facebook page beginning at approximately 5:55 p.m. The family chose cremation as her final disposition.
