Gladys went to be with our Lord God in Heaven on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
Shes is survived by her husband, brother, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Arcos, Sr. and wife Mary Lou Casas Arcos.
She was very proud of her maiden name Arcos and her Hispanic heritage, organizing, in 1974, the first Arcos Family Reunion with her husband "Dusty".
She loved to attend dances with "Dusty" and their friends. They belonged to numerous social organizations, including the Fox Tech Ex-Students Scholarship Association of which she was very instrumental in organizing and founding with "Dusty".
Gladys was a very loving person who made friends with all. She made life-long friendships with her co-workers from Joseph's Men's Store, Alamo Bank, and SA Credit Union.
She enjoyed cooking for her family and others. She was a great cook. During Fiesta, lines would form at her booth, at SACU, to have some of her wonderful Chilaquiles.
Gladys graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of '52.
