Jesse worked on the family farm in Oklahoma for his father before moving to Arizona. He moved east of Ottawa, KS in 1973 to help with the Briles family farm.
He was united in marriage to Twila Lou Ann Briles on July 3, 1958. They shared over fifty-two years of marriage before the death of his wife on October 26, 2010.
Jesse was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Operating Engineers Local 101 in Kansas City, Missouri. He enjoyed traveling in his RV and hunting with his brother Chuck.
Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Twila; several brothers, sisters and son in law John K Sheldon.
He is survived by a son, Larry Lindsey and wife, Darlene of Wellsville, KS; two daughters, Ora Lee Ann Sheldon of Ottawa, KS and Linda White and her husband Lorne of Ottawa, KS; two brothers, Chuck Lindsey and wife, Medusa of Buckeye, AZ and Elmer Lindsey and wife, Sandra of Goodyear, AZ; a sister, Jackie Wilhelm of Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; and his dog and faithful companion, Rock.
To celebrate Jesse's life, a private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Arlington, AZ.
