Kathleen Elizabeth Jones, of Bloomingdale, passed away Tuesday, December 28. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Mary M. Kenworthy and grew up in
Jacksonville, OH.
After graduating from High School, she attended the Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind where she developed life and career skills. This experience
afforded her several opportunities working with children, managing an automat in Portsmouth Ohio and serving as an operator for the Village of Maywood,
IL.
Kathleen was a resident of the Chicago area for over 40 years.

She loved to travel and was able to do so with the assistance of her guide dogs which she loved dearly. Other hobbies included, reading books in Braille,
listening to sports, especially the Cubs, and playing bingo. She was also active with a group of visually impaired friends from around the country and
enjoyed playing computer games with them.

But what she enjoyed the most, was talking to her family and friends. Her cousins Patsy Stanley, Patrick McMahon, Jennifer Bivens, Mark Bloomfield, Doug
Bloomfield, Richard Bloomfield and their families will lovingly remember her for her kindness and as the "family historian". She never missed calling
them on their birthdays - those calls will be greatly missed.

The family wishes to thank her many friends that helped make her life special including Rosy Goodrich, Ann Byrne, Laura Bowman, Mary and Rick Hollander
and Bill Gilbertson.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Alden Gardens of Bloomingdale, Illinois and its staff for providing her a home and the independence that
she was determined to maintain.

Funeral Services will be private.

Arrangements were made by Bucaro Funeral Home, 485 W. Army Trail Rd, Bloomingdale, IL 60108.
