Christopher David Dixon passed away December 29, 2021 at the age of 25.

Chris graduated from Islands High School in May of 2014 and attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Chris was a loving son who had a smile that warmed the heart and a hug that made you feel embraced in love. He enjoyed traveling, hiking and adventure and was blessed with many opportunities to fulfill his love of travel. His favorite trip was the summer after he graduated from high school when he and his mom flew to Idaho, rented a car, and spent three weeks seeing many amazing places as they slowly made their way back to Savannah. His favorite part of the trip was seeing family in Idaho, hiking in Yellowstone National Park and seeing Mt. Rushmore. Chris loved soccer and basketball and had a talent for using that southpaw dribble to keep the ball out of reach. He loved his family and was especially close to Mimi.

God blessed his mom and his family with 25 years of love, smiles, laughs and amazing memories to cherish. God called him home where he can once again be embraced in Mimi's loving arms.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, David Dixon; grandmothers, Mary L. Wise (Mimi), and Mary F. Dixon; and grandfather, Charles W. Dixon.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C.
