Janet Cregar, 84 of Rushville, passed away on January 2, 2022 in Rushville.
She was born on March 20, 1937 in Rushville to the late Dallas and Mary Frances (Goddard) Buchanan.
Janet was a 1955 graduate of Rushville High School. She married Glen M. Cregar on May 12, 1956 and he preceded her in death in 1992. Janet worked at Walmart in Rushville for over 35 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and at the Rushville Elks. Janet enjoyed playing golf.
Janet is survived by her sons, Benjie L. (Jacque) Cregar of Greenwood, David S. (Jacqueline Tharp) Cregar of Mooresville and Darin T. Cregar of Rushville. She will also be missed by her brother, Robert "Bob" Buchanan of Oregon; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Glenda Cregar; son, Richard K. Cregar; and brother, Lawrence "Larry" Buchanan.
Services will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11 AM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastor John Wall presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 4 PM – 7PM in the mortuary on Thursday evening. Burial will be held in East Hill Cemetery.
