OBITUARY

Steven Andrew Reno Benson, Stevie passed away on December 29, 2021. He will be remembered for being the "Life of the Party". He loved to hang out with people, and he loved being outside. For decades, Steve and his buddies went to NE Iowa on an annual canoe and camping trip. These were his happiest memories, and always told his sister all his stories, and somehow always a new one! Steve's life was fishing, camping, canoeing, bicycling, and partying. He taught his sister how to live in the moment, look around, and enjoy the view. He took his nieces and nephew camping, fishing and hiking. He probably spent more nights outside than in, during the summer. He loved his family. He would drive us anywhere we needed to no matter what.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Benson; his sister, Nancy Hannam and his brother, Gary Benson; his nieces and nephews, Casey Herriott, Megan Waters, John Fritzemeier, Brianne Reily and Tyler Benson. But he left behind some great best friends, Randy Hill, his cousins, Dave Hott, Jim Hott, Big Bill, Christa, Lynn, Staci, and so many others, who he loved as well.

There will be a party for him sometime next weekend at both of his favorite places! (Bring Pictures). Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery at a later date.
