Suggested edit: Tracy enjoyed floating, camping, riding bikes and motorcycles, shooting guns, and was THE self-proclaimed "Grill Master." Tracy had a wonderful sense of humor, and was always ready with a joke or witty remark, some of them were good. He liked cold beer, loud music, and attempted to play any instrument he could get his hands on. He could not walk past a keyboard without playing "Jump" by Van Halen. Tracy was also an excellent photographer.

Tracy was born Monday, January 8, 1968, in Dallas, Tx. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharon; his son, Tony and Tony's significant other, Emmy Decker; his mother, Carolyn Stovall of Sulphur Springs, Tx; and two sisters, Lisa Avery and her husband, Jim, Michele McKinney and her husband, Jim; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffery Thomas Stephens; his father, James Thomas Stephens; and his grandson, August McClain Stephens; step-dad, Kenneth Stovall; and father-in-law, W.E. Cooper.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Walnut Lawn Funeral home, 2001 W. Walnut Lawn, Springfield, Mo 65807, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
