Rodney Earl Williams born 1942 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Carlton H. and Iris Marie (Brown) Williams, passed away peacefully at home on December 20 2021 in Santa Rosa Beach.

He spent 20 years in the United States Navy, retiring as a STG 1 Sonar Tech (E-6). Later spent 28 years in maintenance for Gulfshore Condominium.

Rod married Bonti "Windy" Mackie in 1977, they spent much of his life working together. He retired once again to volunteer at Caring and Sharing of South Walton.

He is survived by his wife, Bonti; brother, Christopher and wife Julie Williams of Santa Rosa Beach; daughter, Sharon and husband David Taylor of St. Louis, Missouri and Melanie Comentino of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

We wish to thank all of the many people of Emerald Coast Hospice for their loving care through Rod's journey with Alzheimer's.

A Celebration of Rod's life will be held at a later date. At Rod's request his Cremated remains will be intered at Sea by the United States Navy.
