Timothy Harris was born February 14,1960 to Voyne and Mable Harris of Blair, Nebraska. He graduated from Blair High School and attended The University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
As a Master Plumber, Tim serviced many residents and businesses in Blair. During his youth, Tim achieved the Eagle Scout Award and served as an altar boy at St Francis Borgia. He spent special time on the golf course with his dad and his teammates on the Blair Golf Team.
An avid fisherman and hunter, Tim enjoyed many vacations with family and friends. He and his brother Dick hosted fishing tournaments which provided a bounty of happy memories that he loved to recall.
His participation in helping build the Little League field in Blair was one of his favorite projects. With a quick wit and ready first joke, all the children gravitated towards Tim, their favorite uncle.
Tim moved to Colorado in 1998 where he continued his career in plumbing for 23 years. He loved Colorado but Blair was always home.
In October of 2021, Tim chose to move back to Blair where he looked forward to spending semi-retirement with family and friends.
Timothy Harris, age 61 of Blair, Nebraska, passed away December 30, 2021.
Tim's parents preceded him in death.
Among those left to cherish his memory are a sister, Dixie and husband Morry Hansen, brother Richard and wife Carol Harris, and sister Connie and husband Wayne LaBoube, 12 nieces and nephews, 21 grandnieces and grandnephews, a beloved Aunt, cousins and friends.
Visitation 5-7 January 4, 2022 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home 444 South 17th Street
Blair, NE 68008, followed at 7 pm by Rosary at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be 10:30 am Friday, January 5, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church 2005 Davis Drive, Blair, NE 68008
Burial Holy Cross Cemetery,700 Jackson Street, Blair, NE 68008.
