In 1979, the couple moved to the Brownwood area where they pursued ranching as a vocation. Chad loved the ranching lifestyle and continued to run livestock for 42 years until his illness. Chad also had another calling. He earned a second degree from Liberty University in Theology and was a minister to several rural churches in the area. After his ministry, Chad was a member, deacon, and Sunday School teacher at Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents C. W. and Nerissa Anderson of Midland, and his brother Charles W. Anderson of Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations please be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralho me.com....this man purchased the land where I was born and partly grew up. The old egger place on the banks of the Colorado River. I never met this man but my sister (Lorene minica) know him very well and always had good things to say about him. I do remember the time he told my sister that anytime we wanted to visit the old home place..that we were welcome to do so. We did that and needless to say it brought back tons of memories..rest in peace Chad and thank you for being the man you were.
