Michael Grady Stubbs, age 59 of Hamlet passed away December 19, 2021.
Michael was born September 2, 1962 in Scotland County, son of the late Henry Grady Stubbs and Shirley Owens Stubbs.
He worked many years as a carpenter and was a member of Ghio Holiness Church. He enjoyed his work building as well as hunting and fishing. Michael will truly be missed as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Daniel Stubbs.
Michael is survived by his wife of 24 years, Madeline Dial Stubbs of the home; daughters, Jessica Dial of Laurinburg, Lori Turnmire (Daniel) of Winston Salem, Jennifer Dial of Hamlet; sisters, Jeanine Williams of Laurinburg, Sandy Stubbs of Texas; grandchildren, James "Connor" McCoy, Olivia "Abriel" McCoy, Zyon Malachi Washington, Raygen Lashay McCoy, Kobe Zayden Washington, Zoie Laila Washington, along with is extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Little Mission Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Holiness Church Cemetery, Airbase Road, Laurinburg. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
