John J. McGuire, Jr., passed away peacefully in his home on May 3, 2021 at the age of 89. John will be remembered for riding around the neighborhood on his bike and being a staple of Mifflin Street often waving to people driving by. He was the beloved husband of Joan (nee Whalin) and devoted father of Rita Birch (John), Carol McGuire, Janice Fizur (David), John McGuire III (Marian), and the late Kenneth (Christine). He was the loving Pop of Dennis (Michele), Kara (Scott), Jonathan, Eric, Zachary (Katie), Brie, Lindsay (Thomas), Jill (Michael), Kierstyne (Tim), Kelsey (Andrew), Christian, Kyle, Christopher, Ryanne , as well as, 11 great grandchildren. John is also survived by his brother, Walter McGuire (Noreen).

Interment will follow at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
