Edward J. Murphy, Jr, affectionately known to all as "Ed", passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on August 18, 2021 at the blessed age of 90. He was a dedicated employee of Sherwin Williams Paint for 62 years and a devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. He was the beloved husband of Galina (nee Bowman) and the late Dorothy "Dot" Murphy (nee Bealer) and loving father of Luba Bowman. Ed is also survived by his niece, Margaret Black.
Relatives, friends, and employees of Sherwin Williams are invited to his Viewing and Funeral, Monday, August 23, 2021 at 8 AM from the Rogers Funeral Home, Inc., 1426-30 South 3rd Street Philadelphia, Pa 19147 followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
